This is good drinking on its own

By:
I purchased this in the gossips mixed dozen sampler and like the other wines in that pack it is surprisingly good for the price, its actually from Warburn estate winery. I am not a massive fan of cab sav especially when they have that sort of buttery egg aftertaste, such as the Deakin estate ,but this is very middle of the road and easy to drink and good value for the price, its not so far from Shiraz as to risk being something you don't like if you are more of a Shiraz fan, even the merlot from gossips is pretty good. This is good drinking on its own or with food, very good for the price and better than wines more than twice the price, at least to my taste buds.

I found this wine to be as good as the reviews recorded. I was skeptical owing to the cheap price, but was pleasurably surprised . A real gem.

A smooth woodie wine

Vintage 2006. A price that I thought was maybe dogie. But, a very pleasant surprise arrived! A Smooth woodie wine that I will certainly keep on my wine list.

Shhh - it's too good

I tried the Shiraz and was hooked now the Cab Sav has the same effect. Like the lable says shhhhh spread the word that its not very good so there is plenty left for all of us!

Generous plumb and berry flavours

By:
Always chasing that elusive bargain red an initial tasting was rewarded by the surprising quality and value in this low end of the price range wine with generous plumb and berry flavours and soft tannin that stay constant from first taste to last drop. This is a great BBQ or pasta accompaniment that must be one of the best Cabernet Sauvignon bargains currently available.
