The Curtis family has a long history of winemaking – dating back to 1471 – and the current generations continue the tradition. This wine is yet more compelling evidence of how well Cabernet can do in a warmer region in a good year. Deep purple in colour, we have notes of chocolate, herbs, olives and black fruits. Coffee bean and cassis notes emerge as we travel further as does a seamless, supple texture. This has great length and it maintains its intensity throughout with silky tannins. An impressive wine which will offer pleasure for a decade or more."
